Is Launchpad a good fit for you

How Launchpad works

Apply online – Tell us a bit about you, your interests and why you want to join.

Join your cohort – If you are accepted, you join a welcome session, meet your group and hear about the challenge.

Complete the four week sprint – Attend weekly sessions, work with your team and use AI tools to solve the challenge.

Showcase your project – Present your work in a friendly showcase and get feedback plus support on next steps.
What happens after you apply

- •If we need more information, we may follow up with a short call or email.
- •If you are accepted, you receive a welcome email with details about your cohort start date.
- •Before the programme begins, you get access to preparation materials and an introduction to your group.
Time commitment and expectations
Launchpad runs for four weeks. You should expect to spend around 3 to 5 hours per week on the programme. This includes one live session per week with your facilitator and group, plus time for group work and individual tasks. All sessions are online and scheduled at times that work for participants.

Do I need previous experience?
No, you do not need previous experience. Launchpad is designed for young people who want to learn and build confidence, regardless of their background.
Do I need to be good with AI already?
No, you do not need prior AI experience. We will teach you how to use AI tools as part of the programme.
Is it really free?
Yes, Launchpad is completely free for participants. The programme is funded by employer and partner sponsorships.
What do I need to take part?
You need a device with internet access (laptop, tablet, or smartphone), a stable internet connection, and the ability to attend weekly live sessions. No special software is required.
